Endorsements for the March 2004 California Primary
Endorsements for the March 2004 California Primary
This may well be the
best opportunity that we have
in our lifetimes to limit sprawl in San Diego's backcountry. Prop A is
also endorsed by numerous other environmental and civic organizations including
the Affordable Housing Coalition, the American Lung Association, the League of
Women Voters, the San Diego-Imperial Counties Labor Council (AFL-CIO), the
Surfrider Foundation, and even the San Diego City Council. The initiative
is
opposed
primarily by building and real estate interests.

and to Web pages advocating passage of the endorsed resolutions, but
Sierra Club guidelines prohibit that: "Web
pages that are financed by general Club funds (c4 funds) cannot link directly to
candidates' campaign Web sites or to the Web sites of non-Club political
advocacy organizations."
