"The Seychelles: Island Paradise" Presented by Frank Gregorek

Frank Gregorek is an award winning photographer. His images have appeared in advertisements for Nikon, Epson printers, American Photo, Popular Photography, and others. Frank's penchant for travel and love of photography have resulted in the creation of images from around the world.
Frank's presentation will feature his travels on a sailing trip through the Seychelles Archipelago in the Indian Ocean. The islands of Mahe, Praslin, and La Digue will be showcased. Pristine beaches, wildlife, wildflowers, and even an island wedding will be presented. If you ever dream of life in an island paradise, the Seychelles is the place to fulfill that dream.
Frank will also present images from those countries closest to the Seychelles, i. e., Kenya and Tanzania. His presentation on travel photography will close with a selection of images from recent work in China, Italy, Israel, and Morocco.
Message from the Chair__________
Nothing could have more dramatically underscored the power of the image than the attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Shock, horror, profound sadness, rage...words do not adequately describe the boiling emotions we continue to experience. Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and associates. As our President said, "This attack will not go unanswered." In response to this onslaught of horrendous images, I challenge our group to create a counterpoint of positive emotion through our art. In other words, keep doing what we already do so well. Let's also put out the welcome mat for member's slides depicting the uniting of America and the World against terrorism.
