Foster Lodge is located off Sunrise Highway (S-1) in the Laguna Mountains. The road entrance is 12.4 miles north of I-8 and 11.2 miles south of State Route 79. Key points to look for are mile-marker 26 from both directions.
From I-8 northbound on Sunrise Highway: shortly after mile-marker 26 you will see a road sign on your left for the Laguna/El Prado campground. The entrance to the lodge is a sharp right turn just after the campground entrance.
From State Route 79 southbound on Sunrise Highway from Julian/Cuyamaca: look for Al Bahr Shrine Camp on your right just after mile-marker 26. The lodge entrance is less than a tenth of a mile ahead on your left.
