Trip 1: SCORPION ANCHORAGE BASE CAMP, E1A
Leader: Mike Fry, Asst: Doug Nolff

Trip 2: SCORPION ANCHORAGE BASE CAMP, E1A
Leader: PJ Jeffery, Asst: Rachel Burnage
Both groups will occupy the far end of the campground. You can join either leader for the hike of the day, or remain in camp and tour the historic Scorpion Ranch. The camp has water, picnic tables and pit toilets. You can use wheeled luggage (45 lb max) to carry your gear ½ mile to our camp.

Strenuous 4 mile backpack to the only backcountry camp on the island. It has tables, pit toilet, and possibly water near the camp. Interesting day hikes along the crest of the island.

Trip 4: SCORPION ANCHORAGE TO PRISONERS HARBOR BACKPACK, S10C
Leader: Marty Stevens, Asst: needed
We will explore Scorpion Ranch on Saturday, and backpack over the Montañon Range to make our way to Del Norte Camp on Sunday. Time-permitting, there will be a short hike to Pelican Bay before pick up at Prisoner’s Harbor. Gear can be left in camp for Trip 5.

Trip 5: PRISONER’S HARBOR TO SCORPION ANCHORAGE BACKPACK, S10B
Leader: Howard Kellogg, Asst: Pauline Jimenez
On Sunday, we move 10 miles over the Montañon Range to Scorpion Anchorage. Gear can be left in camp for Trip 4.
