Family Section

March/April 2004 Newsletter

We are in the process of reviving the Family Section! Most of the previous volunteers' children have grown up, so we are looking for a whole new generation of participants and volunteers! We plan to have outings every month, an e-newsletter, and classifieds for Sierra Club parents (reduce, reuse and recycle those joggers, baby carriers, and kids hiking boots). In years past, the Family Section organized an annual summer backpacking trip and a Nature Knowledge Workshop for kids. We'll try to bring those back, too.

You can sign up for our free electronic newsletter here. You will need your Sierra Club member number, printed on the address labels of your Hi Sierran newsletter and Sierra magazine.

March/April Outings

Note: Contact information for the outing leaders and event organizers is included in our free newsletter, distributed via e-mail. It is not included on the Web so as to protect the leaders from spammers and to provide you more incentive to sign up for the newsletter!
